Lessons
are provided on a one to one class setting. The owner and pet
travel to a location designated by the trainer for an approximate
hour session of basic instruction, where both the owner and
pet learn. Commands such as heel, sit, stay, come and down are
taught as well as any behavior modifications. In the days after
the lesson, the owner and pet practice those skills on their
own as time permits. This option allows for a very flexible
training schedule. |

The
trainer travels to your residence to provide training. Sessions
are approximately 1 hour long. The trainer works one-on-one
with the owner and the pet, providing instruction that covers
basic commands along with specialized behavior modifications.
This is ideal for those that have either a very demanding schedule,
like the privacy of their home, have problems with their pet
traveling or problems specifically in the home. Class scheduling
is very flexible. |

Classes |
 |
Group
classes are offered at specific times throughout the year. Class
sizes are kept small, with usually less than 10 students per
class. The classes meet for approximately 1 hour per class,
1 night per week for a period of 5 weeks. The group setting
allows the owner and pet to be taught basic obedience commands
during class time, with homework assignments provided to reinforce
those training principles presented in class. Pets are required
to be current on all vaccinations |

Training |
 |
This
has become a very popular approach for those whose life style
does not allow for them to train their own dog. The pet is left
with the trainer for a two-week period, and training is provided
in an environment similar to “home”. This allows
the trainer to duplicate the conditions in which the dog lives,
and allows the trainer to work on basic commands as well as
manners. During this time, the dog is treated as one of the
family pets. At the end of the two-week
period, there is a training session for the owner. This session
helps the owner understand how to interact with their pet to
achieve desired behaviors.
